Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use StorySpark, including children and grown-ups who use assistive technology.
Our target
StorySpark aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Pages are server-rendered semantic HTML that works without JavaScript for the main tasks. The reader also has dyslexia-friendly font, text size, line marker and read-aloud options.
How we check
An automated axe-core check runs against the main public pages in every build. Automated checks find only part of the problems, so we also test by hand. This statement is our own assessment; it has not been audited by a third party.
Known limitations
- Stories are written by AI, so reading level and wording vary; we cannot guarantee every passage is easy to read.
- Read-aloud uses your browser’s speech voices; quality depends on your device.
- Not every page has had a full screen-reader test yet.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email bjorn@nerdblom.se. Say which page and what device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two weeks. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS), which supervises digital accessibility in Sweden.
